Harbor Story Co is proud to partner with the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Alumni Association to bring 50 Years of HerStory to life, a documentary-style podcast and storytelling initiative honoring five decades of women at the Academy.

This project amplifies the voices, experiences, and leadership journeys of the women who helped shape the Academy and the service. Through in-depth interviews, personal narratives, and reflective conversations, 50 Years of HerStory preserves the stories that too often go untold while celebrating the impact of these trailblazers on the Coast Guard community.

As the lead producer and host, Nicolle Bogden (USCGA ’12) works closely with the Alumni Association to craft a narrative that is both historical and deeply human. Each episode explores the challenges, breakthroughs, and moments that defined these graduates’ paths—on and beyond the Academy grounds.

Together, Harbor Story Co and the USCGA Alumni Association are committed to documenting this important chapter of Academy history and ensuring these stories continue to inspire future generations of cadets, leaders, and listeners.
